Hemet Jeep Club donates money to Valley Wide for families in need

Melissa and Travis Mercer came up with a last minute idea to help gather donations while promoting and planning the light tour, and for a last minute plan, getting over $1000 to families in need, is just amazing! Thank you very much to all of you that contributed to help put presents under a family’s tree this year or food on their table – This is the true definition of ‘selfless’ and makes me proud to be a part of this great club! – Josh E.

From Valley-Wide:
Every year, Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District assists families with food and gift cards at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Money comes from selling raffle tickets at the Breakfast with Santa event and through support from Pete Gregory and the Legends FC soccer organization in French Valley. This year we were extra blessed with more than $1,000 donated from the Hemet Jeep Club. Donations were collected from parade participants during their annual Christmas Jeep Light tour of the San Jacinto Valley on Saturday, December 18. The generous donation was delivered by Josh Epstein and Melissa Mercer on Monday, Dec. 20.
The additional donations will allow us to help more families than ever with gift cards to stores such as Stater Bros., Target and Walmart. Recipients are members of the Valley-Wide community who need some extra help during the holiday season
