Rose Winn is pleased to join California Four Wheel Drive Association as a natural resource consultant. Rose’s experience includes advocacy for preservation of citizen rights within public land use, land management, and access for outdoor recreation.

Areas of focus within her work have included closure of national forest lands as designated habitat for protected species, restrictions on hunting range and bans on hunting methods, gated closures of wilderness roads and trails, broad scale closures of national forest land for seasonal threat of fire, advocacy for effective forest vegetation management practices, and preservation of public rights to access and OHV use at Oceano Dunes.

Rose’s professional background leverages extensive skill in research, advocacy, public education, and partnership development. As a life-long resident of California and avid outdoorsperson, Rose brings to the NRC role a deep passion for the unparalleled beauty that the state uniquely offers for outdoor recreation enthusiasts. She is eager to increase impact to preserve and expand public access to public lands as a natural resource consultant for California Four Wheel Drive Association.
